The Evangelical Lutheran Church in Botswana is rekindling classic romance of the 1960’s with a special dinner dance dubbed “Love in the 60s” at the Botswana National Museum premises on Saturday.

“The aim of the event is to revive the essence of good old-fashioned love by celebrating the social and cultural trends of the 1960s with a climatic red carpet fashion parade and photo shoot”, a statememnt reads in part. 

The programme, which will start at 2.30pm and end at 10pm, includes performances by Benny Sekgwa, Phongo Ristas as well as poets. The evening will feature dinner, a raffle draw as well as dancing and entertainment while the Reverend Ada Mereyabone will address the audience.The Botswana National Museum premises was chosen as the venue for the event due to  its work as a heritage preservation institution.
