Local scribes urged to help combat HIV/AIDS

SELEBI-PHIKWE: Media practitionershave been urged to assist in the fight against the HIV/AIDS scourge that has hit the area.

Speaking during a press conference, ACHAP programme officer, Elizabeth Mushi said the media is one of the alternative ways that can be used to spread the HIV/AIDS messages.

She complained that the media in Selebi-Phikwe were not providing much coverage on HIV/AIDS issues as they expected despite the town being the hardest hit by the scourge.
