Limkokwing intake suspended

The Ministry of Education might not send first year students to Limkokwing University this year after the school registered more than 7,000 students last year, ending up with a total of more than 10,000 students in two years.

According to the deputy permanent secretary, Golekanye Setume, the institution has already exceeded their capacity by 2,259 students. "Their official capacity was 7,500 students but they currently have 9,759 students which clearly shows that they are above capacity," Setume said.

He stated that Limkokwing will have its first output at the end of the year when completing students graduate creating space for new ones to be sponsored next year.
