Vice President of the Republic of Botswana, Ponatshego Kedikilwe was among the decorated lot as he was bestowed with the Honorary Doctorate of Leadership tobecome the third leader from Botswana to receive the decoration from this university since former President Festus Mogae, and former Education Minister Pelonomi Venson-Moitoi were honoured.
The Limkokwing award recognises Dr Kedikilwe’s leadership in strengthening the national economy through rebuilding of the Botswana economy that has included effective use of national resources.
The BDP as a party known to have ample resources has always held its primaries well in time, but this time around that was not the case. The first leg of the primaries was held last weekend, with the final leg being billed for the coming weekend. This time around, the BDP failed to shine in its primary elections.
