Limko students unhappy with bookstore system

Students at Limkokwing University of Creative Technology have expressed concerns that the institution's newly introduced textbook swiping system is a rip off in which they are issued with textbooks that are not necessary for current semester modules.

The students say that the institution has opened a new Books Botswana bookstore on campus and introduced a system of swiping for books from the store. They complain that no consultation was done prior to that.

Some say they fear that the university may be 'scoffing' some of their allowances because they are not issued with receipts when buying books from the store where they are told which textbooks they need since they have already been paid for by the institution using students' book allowances.
