Letshego pledges computers to GSS

Letshego Insurance Company has pledged to donate computers and printers to Gaborone Secondary School (GSS) as part of its social responsibility initiative.

The pledge comes after the students and teachers involved in the school's Development Studies project agreed to explore avenues that would help equip the school with computers.  Delivering a keynote address at the school's sponsored walk, Letshego Sales and Marketing Manager, Kabelo Kwape, said their involvement with the community goes a long way. He said their community services extend to helping schools across the country attaining necessary learning materials.

He explained Letshego growth, saying it has 17 subsidies across the region after growing from its humble beginnings to where it is because of the support from the community. It is because of this, he said, that they are obligated to give back.Kwape, who also donated P5,000 to the school to give a head start to the project, said the group will donate the number of computers that the students had hoped for. GSS students, who are spearheading the project, hoped for somewhere between 10 and 20 computers.
