We arrive in Ditshegwane ward at a certain home belonging to BNF parliamentary candidate Filbert Nagafela. The Botswana Movement for Democracy (BMD) youth activist Dimpho Mashaba meets us. It is breakfast time and he is busy eating plain soft porridge. Mashaba tells us that all the seven wards in the constituency will be hosting their own rallies at 14:00 hours. He says Nagafela, who is popularly known as comrade FN, will make sure he attends all of them but he is not sure if he will make it. He explains  that they do not have enough funds to sponsor a motorcade in this vast constituency.

Nagafela's yard is swarming with activists from the BNF and the umbrella partners, the BMD. We asked for directions where we could meet the BDP activists and he jokingly says we should look out for a feed-lotting tent, and it is where the BDP has camped.
