Addressing journalists ahead of the annual tertiary education conference and fair in Gaborone last Friday, Molutsi said this inequity continued inspite of the expansion of tertiary enrolment that Botswana experienced over the years.

He said a recent study conducted by TEC had revealed that less than 0.1 percent of People Living With Disabilities (PLWDs) had undergone tertiary education. Molutsi said tertiary institutions did not even have a system in place to denote PLWDs. "Experts are needed to test and categorise people as disabled," he said.
