FRANCISTOWN: Two weeks after suffering serious burns while on duty, a 25-year-old Ipelegeng worker has accused the Francistown City Council (FCC) of neglect.

Instead of attending to his woes, Goitsemodimo Thabo Samson says the only thing they did was to tell him, “Go tla a siama”.

But the council spokesperson says FCC is intending to compensate the Ipelegeng worker. Samson’s face was badly burnt when an empty deodorant canister exploded while they were burning rubbish at Botswana Railways houses in Itekeng ward on June 13.
