Lectures marooned on 'no-mans-land'

As the Botswana Teachers_ Union holds its annual conference in Palapye today, the status of lecturers will be one of the burning issues.

Lecturers at government colleges are caught in limbo after the newly established Tertiary Education Council (TEC), the body which runs tertiary education, went semi-autonomous, according to Ronald Ketshabe, projects co-ordinator at BTU.
