Presidents of the opposition parties face a major test next week Thursday when they meet in a final attempt to unlock the impasse in the opposition cooperation project.

The conveners, Lebang Mpotokwane and Emang Maphanyane, gave the baton over to the presidents last Sunday at a meeting in which they (the conveners) briefed the presidents on their mediation efforts, whose aim was to break the deadlock on the constituency allocation. "Dumelang Saleshando (BCP), Gomolemo Motswaledi (BMD) and Duma Boko (BNF) have agreed to meet on December 22 to review progress and move the negotiations forward," the statement said.
