Lands ministry overhauls its systems

SELEBI-PHIKWE: The Ministry of Lands and Housing is working on a project to develop efficient land administration based on simplified procedures.

Under the proposed Land Administration Procedures Capacity and Systems (LAPCAS), the ministry will move from manual to digital information storage system.

The Minister of Lands and Housing, Lebonaamang Mokalake, said over the weekend that digitalisation will make their systems efficient and effective and reduce the waiting period.
