If they have a problem they can come and talk to me. They go around soiling my name; I don't know what they are up to. But I have the lease agreement and don't need to bother them. They are good tenants and are paying their rental as per the lease agreement, so I don't have a gripe with them," he said.

The matter was referred to the Directorate on Corruption and Economic Crime (DCEC) after councillors questioned the procurement of the building by council officers, who are accused of flouting established procurement protocols.
