Land fraud soaring in Tlokweng

Land fraud is soaring in Tlokweng as the hunger to acquire residential land in the Greater Gaborone area heightens.

Maniki said the most prevalent form of fraud involves the selling of one plot to more than one person.  At the moment, they are investigating a case reported in May where two people parted with P60,000 and P40,000, respectively for one plot.
