If numbers were anything to go by, one could conclude that the Umbrella for Democratic Change (UDC) parliamentary candidate for Kanye North, Kwenantle Gaseitsewe will be the next area Member of parliament.

Gaseitsewe’s launch on Saturday attracted both the young and the old of the village.

The constituency is commonly known as a Botswana National Front (BNF) stronghold. Gaseitsewe is related to Bangwetse royal who formed the BNF. UDC painted the area yellow as supporters donned T-shirts written in Sengwaketse Tje Nako. Many people were shouting,” it is time to reclaim the constituency”
