Kwelagobe hails US media expert's visit

Presidential affairs and public administration minister Daniel Kwelagobe has hailed American media expert Marguerite Sullivan's visit as it comes at a time government is rationalising its communication operations.

He was speaking on Tuesday night at the Gaborone Sun during a reception held in honour of Sullivan, the United States (US) director of the Centre of International Media Assistance at the National Endowment for Democracy.

Kwelagobe said Sullivan has come to Botswana to   share her vast expertise in public communication. Sullivan will be conducting a series of seminars, as well as meeting with local media stakeholders such as public relation officers this week.
