The Botswana National Front (BNF) will tomorrow afternoon hold a memorial service for fallen veteran politician, Klaas Motshidisi at the City Hall.
Motshidisi, a long-time labour activist, political icon, retired civil servant and headman for Palapye Tribal Authority, passed on last week Monday.
BNF spokesperson Moeti Mohwasa confirmed that his party has organised a memorial service for their former member.
“The memorial service will be held at City Hall at 1500 hours,” he said.
He also said various speakers from the BNF, Botswana Peoples Party (BPP) and Botswana Movement for Democracy (BMD) as well as a family representative and friends are expected to address the memorial service.
Labour movements leaders from Botswana Federation of Public Sector Unions (BOFEPUSU) and Botswana Federation of Trade Unions (BFTU) are also expected to present speeches at the service.
Mohwasa also disclosed that a condolences book where individuals can write their messages would be ready today at the BNF offices in Gaborone.
The condolences messages will be read during Wednesday’s service.
