Khama to vote his brother in Serowe

They say blood is thicker than water and this is true for the Khamas. While President Ian Khama lives in Gaborone he will not cast his vote in the city and perhaps break a long term tradition that has been established over the years with Presidents voting at a polling station closer to the state house. Khama will go all the way to lend support to his brother in Serowe, South North.

The Secretary General at Tsholetsa House Dr Batlang Comma Serema said the former army chief will cast his vote in his home village of Serowe, but would not say which polling station. "He will cast his vote in Serowe but I am not sure at which polling station" Serema said in an interview with Mmegi.

BNF president Otsweletse Moupo, although beaten in the party primary election by Maemo Bantsi, says that is a thing of the past and he will go out to support the very comrade who defeated him in an internal party democracy.  "I have registered to vote at New Era polling station. I expect to arrive at the station at around 0630 in the morning", Moupo said.
