For access to justice is essentially about service delivery, an issue which is very close to my heart.
As I observed recently in my inaugural speech, our country has achieved much in the field of democracy and development, but we still face many challenges. In the field of law and justice, our achievements are reflected in the investments we have made in courts and other facilities, as well as in training the necessary human resources to serve in the justice system. I know I am preaching to the converted, but it bears repeating that impressive court buildings and trained personnel do not guarantee people access to justice.
It underscores the indispensable role women play in our society, particularly in building strong households and nurturing families. The recognition of women as the bedrock of our communities is not just a sentiment; it's a call to action for all women to stand together and support each other in their endeavours.The society's aim to instil essential principles and knowledge for national development is crucial.
