Khama can't attack me - Kwelagobe

Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) chairman Daniel Kwelagobe says contrary to what his boss President Ian Khama claims, he is not a self-seeking and power-hungry politician.

In an interview yesterday, Kwelagobe said that he does not expect Khama, his friend to say such things about him.  

"I come from afar with him ke mo rata and I respect him as my leader and as a friend. It's becoming difficult for me to respond to what he is reported to have said about me in your paper (Mmegi). I can't believe he can say that, gongwe lo a mo pateletsa. He is the first person to know that I am not power-hungry. Everyone in the BDP and outside it know that I am not interested in jostling for power," he said.
