Kgosi Kgari set to wed

Six years after he became Bakwena traditional leader, Kgosi Kgari Sechele will reach another milestone at the end of this year when he marries a woman from the Ngwaketse district.

His deputy, Kgosi Keineetse Sebele delivered this news to a Kgotla meeting on Monday morning. No date has been set yet but Sebele said that they was targeting the end of the year for the wedding ceremony.

Sebele would not reveal any more personal details about the future Bakwena queen, other than that she is a health professional in the Ministry of Health. She is expected to leave for Australia at the end of June for further studies. The woman has worked at the Scottish Livingstone Memorial Hospital in Molepolole.
