Kgatleng District Council Launches Newsletter

Mochudi: In a week of milestones, the Kgatleng District Council launched a newsletter, a toll-free number and the development plan for the Mochudi Planning Area covering 2007 to 2013 last week.

Speaking at the official launch, the deputy permanent secretary in the Ministry of Local Government, Tsaone Thebe, said the tools would help improve service delivery in Kgatleng.

The newsletter will provide a communication platform for the council's corporate values and its strategic priorities, programmes and projects, Thebe said. She explained that her ministry had decentralised toll-free lines to districts to ensure that all customers accessed quality service and that a complaint service centre would be established to keep track of complaint patterns.
