Kgathi Blocks Dikgosi From Kgoboko Trust Launch

Minister of Defence, Justice and Security, Shaw Kgathi has moved to block dikgosi from attending Francisco Malesela Kgoboko Trust launch scheduled for today (Monday). The trust will be launched by former president Ian Khama who has already lamented that the relationship between him and the current administration is not a cordial one.

According to sources, Kgathi instructed the director of tribal administration Masego Mooketsi to refuse with transport for dikgosi who were billed to attend the launch in Mabolwe.

Kgoboko is challenging Kgathi in the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) primary elections to be held over the weekend. “Kgathi feels that this will overshadow him going to the elections.
