Makhura said that Kgosi Kgolo is spearheading efforts aimed at bringing in a people-centered constitution for the benefit of the entire nation, a mission he must be applauded and not crucified for. He said that the Kgosi has the support of his people, adding that he is a God sent leader and no-one can question his position.

"Bakgatla are clear that they can die for their Kgosi. He is Kgosi by birthright and no authority no matter how powerful, can deny him that God-given privilege," he noted.
