Kgafela in another legal wrangle with govt

LOBATSE: Bakgatla paramount chief, Kgafela Kgafela has launched another suit against the government, this time in collaboration with DITSHWANELO - the Botswana Centre for Human Rights.

Kgafela and DITSHWANELO want to stop the government from executing convicted triple murderer, Gotlhalosamang Gabaokelwe - whose appeal against a death senwas recently dismissed by the Court of Appeal.

Gabaokelwe has been convicted and sentenced to death and lengthy jail terms for the murder of his stepdaughter, his minor biological child and his girlfriend, Keneilwe Ndolo.
