Keyboardist 'Ellie' is dead

One of Botswana's most promising keyboardists, Elliott Morgan (Chawilane) was reported dead early Monday morning at Princess Marina Hospital in Gaborone.

Musicians who reported Elliot's passing had not established the cause of death though the music fraternity was aware that Elliot had spent a long time in hospital in Francistown - his home town - before shifting to Gaborone.

Elliot was from a musical family that included singer, bassist, guitarist and keyboardist at the Botswana Defence Force and Impromptu Jazz Band, 'Jomo'.
