Keetshabe named OP top legal advisor

Former Deputy Attorney General, Abraham Keetshabe has been appointed General Counsel in the Office of the President (OP) with immediate effect.

Government spokesperson Jeff Ramsay announced that Keetshabe will serve as the chief legal advisor and resident attorney for the Office of the President as a whole, 'that is to say not just for H.E. the President with immediate effect'.

Ramsay denied that Keetshabe had been appointed as "Special Advisor" [we are disappointed that said term was used despite our having communicated the correct title of General Counsel".
