Kedikilwe Commissions Dikgatlhong Dam Construction

ROBELELA: Construction of Dikgatlhong Dam, which is expected to be the largest in Botswana, is set to begin after a groundbreaking ceremony was held in Robelela on Friday.

The Minister of Minerals, Energy and Water Resources, Ponatshego Kedikilwe, performed the ground breaking at the proposed site.

It is envisaged that the dam, whose construction is expected to be completed in 2011, will ease the country's perennial water woes mainly in the eastern parts of Botswana.
