KDC elections bring little change

MOLEPOLOLE: The chairman of Kweneng District Council (KDC), Motlhophi Leo, maintained his position in elections here yesterday.

The Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) councillor won with 55 votes to Botswana National Front's (BNF) Bright Segwaga's 24 votes. One ballot vote was spoiled.

The deputy chairmanship also went to the BDP, with Pelaelo Motaosane winning by 58 votes against the Botswana Congress Party 's (BCP) Phaganyane Phage 20 votes. Two ballots were spoiled.  Motaosane replaces Tshepiso Lesope.
