KBL mum about SA beer crisis

Kgalagadi Breweries Limited (KBL) has refused to speculate about its future trading conditions amid reports that South African Breweries (SABMiller), the parent company, is experiencing shortages.

KBL corporate director Percy Raditladi would not say how far the South African problem has affected their plant operations in Broadhurst.

Raditladi said in Gaborone yesterday that as a public company, listed on the Botswana Stock Exchange, KBL would not comment, pending the announcement of the company's   end-of-year results next month.
