Kario raps 'thieving' Lawyers

Kario said this in Parliament on Monday when commenting on the budget request by the Ministry of Defence, Justice and Security for the Attorney General's Chambers (AGs).
While he commended the AGs Chambers for initiating a study to bring about legal aid as well as decentralising legal service to government ministries, Kario also took the opportunity to express his disgust at the conduct of some lawyers.

He said that a lot of lawyers were compromising the integrity of the legal profession.
Kario said that the situation was a source for concern because lawyers were involved in all sorts of crimes.
