Kanjabanga Withdraws Case Against BNF

LOBATSE: Botswana National Front (BNF) activist and Gaborone attorney, Gabriel Kanjabanga withdrew a case in which he was suing the party for suspending him last year.

He told Justice Singh Walia that he was withdrawing the matter because he is in the process of reconciling with the party. He did not apply for costs because he wants to demonstrate commitment to the ongoing talks between him and the party.

Kanjabanga and five others - Kaizer Leepile, Malatsi Mokhubame, Thuso Mogorosi, Samuel Taunyana and Dikgakgamatso Kgoadi were suspended from the BNF after accusations that they conducted themselves in a manner that does not conform with the party rules and regulations.
