Kanjabanga vows to retake Gaborone North seat

Botswana National Front (BNF) parliamentary hopeful for Gaborone North, Gabriel Kanjabanga feels that he has what it takes to recapture the constituency for the party.

So far he is the only BNF activist who has shown interest in the seat. Gaborone North used to be a BNF stronghold until the 2004 general election, when the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) snatched the seat through Keletso Rakhudu who defeated lawyer Patrick Kgaodi. 

The BNF vetted former popular MP Michael Mzwinila during the primaries. Analysts at the time felt that was probably the party's main undoing.
