Kalafatis' lawyers want Khama

The case of John Kalafatis, which refuses to be banished from the public domain, has now taken another dramatic turn.

The Kalafatis family, acting through their lawyers Duma Boko and Dick Bayford, have written to President Ian Khama requesting a sworn statement from him on a number of issues. Among others the lawyers want Khama to clarify his relationship with a Phakalane resident known as Allan West.

In the letter West is described as a long time family friend of the President.
