Corridors in the court complexes at the oldest town in the country remained deserted for much of the day as support staff had joined other government employees on strike. Information reaching Mmegi suggests that Lobatse High Court is also on the brink of collapse as those that remained during the early days of the strike action plan to join the boycott. An employee, who wanted to remain anonymous, said their patience has run out and the government seems unconcerned about their welfare.
Sources said judges have to delay commencement of court sessions while awaiting few court reporters and clerical staff available.
