Judge to rule on six police officers' application

Broadhurst Magistrate Haiwa Nuru will today hear the status of the case in which six police officers are collectively charged with four criminal offences, including murder.

The six officers are accused of killing Italy Setlaampoloka while interrogating him for suspected robbery offences two years ago.

The six officers, whose case is before Lobatse High Court Judge Zibani Makhwade, are: Ranto Mmeleki, 38, Tebogo Khutsafalo, 35, Kabo Moffat Ramohibidu, 30, Michael Ramhitshana, 32, Dithuso Dintwe, 41, and Patrick Gobotswang.
