Judge gives time for more witnesses

FRANCISTOWN: Justice Moses Chinhengo has given state witnesses more time to testify in the case involving a Zimbabwean national facing four murder counts.

The accused, Gerald Jerry Dube, 28, is charged with the murder of Patricia Majoko, a former attorney, and her three children Lindiwe Ncube, Amotjilani and Dumisani Majoko. The murders were committed in the Francistown Administrative District on September 13, 2001.

However, Dube's attorney Ookeditse Maphakwane, from Maphakwane and Partners, presented his submissions before Justice Chinhengo that they admit the cause of Patricia Majoko's death, which according to the post-mortem report, resulted from internal haemorrhage due to the application of force to the head.
