Jehovah's Witnesses hold Gaborone event

An estimated 3,000 people from Gaborone, including Lobatse, Jwaneng, Molepolole and Mochudi, will come to the Botswana National Stadium over two successive week-ends for a three day event focusing on finding reliable guidance.

Jehovah's Witnesses will host their annual convention at the National Stadium with the first of the two local conventions in English beginning Friday 12 September, followed by the second in Setswana beginning Friday 19 September.

This year's Guided by God's Spirit' district convention is open to the public. The programme will focus on why reliable guidance is needed today and where people can turn to for trustworthy advice in all aspects of life.
