ISPAAD, LIMID guidelines now in braille

In an effort to improve its communication strategy, the Ministry of Agriculture launched the Integrated Support for Arable Agriculture Development (ISPAAD) and the Livestock Management and Infrastructure Development (LIMID) guidelines in braille last Friday.

The braille guidelines will help blind people read and learn more about the development farming programmes.

Public relations officer at the ministry, Oratile Monthe, said they want the visually challenged to learn backyard gardening and poultry farming. He said that the ministry is working on upgrading its communications channels so that it can spread the message to all its clients.  ÒWe want the ministry's information to be packaged according to the needs of our clients.
