Injured Constable Recovers At Hospital

A special constable who was shot and seriously injured by four armed men who robbed Choppies Supermarket at Border Gate Mall in Tlokweng last week is reported to be recuperating in a local hospital.

 The 39-year-old special constable was allegedly shot by the robbers as they were fleeing the scene of crime with about P14,000.  A police spokesperson, Dipheko Motube has told Monitor that the criminals are still at large.

He appealed to the public to assist in the arrest of the robbers. Those with information about the robbery can contact Tlokweng Police at telephone number 3925114 or the nearest police station.
