Those targeted  were  employees at Debswana at Head Office and its sorting arm Botswana Diamond Valuing Company which is also located in Gaborone, Orapa, Letlhakane and Damtshaa Mines in the Boteti area and Jwaneng Mine in the south. More than 300 printed questionnaires (two hundred) questionnaires were sent out and at the time of the deadline, only 37 had been filled. Another 100 (one hundred questionnaires) were then sent out. In addition to the printed questionnaires, some were sent by email to potential respondents. After this effort to get a credible number of respondents, the tally of respondents increased to 72 .
