FRANCISTOWN: A war of attrition has broken out at Central Ward between councilor, Rebecca Nshakazhogwe and her committee.

At the heart of the animosity are allegations of illegal campaigning by Anthony Chebani, a Francistown East constituency administrator.

Nshakazhogwe has listed a litany of offences to the Francistown East constituency chairperson, Roland Morapedi against aspirant primaries candidate Chebani. The correspondent has been copied to the Francistown regional committee, MP Phandu Skelemani, Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) central committee and the Clerk of National Assembly. In her letter to Morapedi, Nshakazhogwe alleges that the ward chairperson, Ikgopoleng Matlhare has aligned himself to one of the aspiring candidates, a public servant at Francistown East constituency.
