IBS, PPADB settle out of court

IBS Kalahari Computer Maintenance Services has withdrawn a contempt of court application against the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board (PPADB) and the Department of Information Technology. In exchange, PPADB has confirmed the award of the previously disputed tender to ISB.

The company is to provide computer hardware maintenance and software support services for microcomputers, servers and peripheral systems in use at government ministries and departments.

"The award of the said Tender No. TB 3/7/302001-2002 to the applicant is confirmed," reads the consent order realised by the Lobatse High Court on Monday.
