Botsalo Ntuane, Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) candidate for Gaborone West South constituency has said he will not be a 'yes man' in Parliament if he gets the nod in the coming general elections.

Speaking at a lunchtime rally on Tuesday, he said that the area requires an MP who will not unconditionally support the executive, but rather work towards strengthening Parliament.

Some say I should keep quiet so I can get a cabinet position but I think if it takes that to get a position, then I would rather not be appointed)," said Ntuane.
