How loving mom delivered son to police

One of the four men who escaped from police custody on Monday as they were being transferred from Ramotswa Magistrates Court tasted freedom briefly before he was re-arrested on Wednesday afternoon.

It appears Orapeleng Nkwe (23), who is facing charges of armed robbery and burglary, found his newly acquired freedom incomplete without his mother's warm love. He visited his mother, who welcomed him with open arms, in Mogoditshane.

Being the only person he trusted in that moment of need, he was prepared to do anything to make mother happy. And so he happily jumped into a car to travel to Taung Village just a few kilometres from Ramotswa in a relative's car.
