Hotter days coming

This is because the days and nights will soon get really hot. In an interview with Mmegi Meteorological Services Director, Phetogo Phage, said that the months of October and November are the coolest, while December, January and February are hottest during summer season. The scalding temperatures over the past few weeks may therefore be nothing compared to what is coming he said.

"So it is likely that temperatures will be even higher during months that normally have the highest temperatures," he said. Phage said that although the extremely high temperatures during October and November were due to a heatwave they cannot rule out the probability of another heatwave.
