A leading Canadian University, Dalhousie University, has honored Prof Bojosi Otlhogile, the former University of Botswana (UB) Vice President, for transforming the university during his tenure.

Dalhouse University honored Otlhogile  as they celebrated the official installation of its new president, Richard Florizone.  Otlhogile was one of the eight university presidents, former presidents and chancellors presented with an honorary doctorate from Dalhousie.

Conferring the honor on the homer VC, Dalhouse University said Otlhogile's challenge while the VC at UB was to invent an institution that can foster the hopes of a relatively young independent nation, that can lead on a continent facing challenges of poverty, emerging economies and post-colonialism, and that can attract and keep its brightest minds rather than losing them to other nations.
