Three men allegedly hijacked a man, who had picked up the hitchhikers for a lift from Morwa to Mochudi village on Saturday night.

Mochudi Police Assistant Station Commander, Assistant Superintendent Washington Zambezi said they received the report at around 11pm.

“The trio had requested the victim to drop them at Boseja ward in Mochudi promising to pay him but on the way, they allegedly took out knives, threatened him, and instructed him to step out of the car, driving off with his Honda-Fit vehicle,” he said.

Zambezi added THAT investigations into the matter are ongoing to locate the suspects who are still at large. He further pleaded with members of the public to help them locate the victim’s white Honda-Fit.
