High court grants murder accused bail

The High Court in Lobatse on Thursday granted bail to the two accused persons in the murder of soccer fan Ishmael Moseki in Ledumadumane in February.

Kgololo Lesotho and Mabogo Lesotho sought High Court intervention after a Gaborone Village Magistrate denied them bail on March 28.

Justice Michael Mothobi granted them bail on condition that they commit themselves to paying P5,000 each and providing two sureties. The two accused will also surrender their travel documents to the investigating officer at Sir Seretse Khama Police Station, where they will also report every Friday between 7.30am and 4.30pm.
