Habitual thief convicted

FRANCISTOWN: A magistrate here has convicted a Zimbabwean thief who seemed to have developed a penchant of breaking and stealing from shops Thursday.

Magistrate Mpho Molema sentenced 32-year-old Prince Moyo to three years in jail for breaking into three different shops in Tonota on  the same day and stealing various items from the shops.On the first count, Moyo was found guilty of breaking into People's Choice General Dealer on October 6, 2012 and stealing various goods worth P264. He was subsequently sentenced to three years in jail for the offence.

Molema also sentenced Moyo to three years in jail for breaking into Trams Food General Dealer and stealing goods valued at P470.The magistrate lastly found him guilty for breaking into Lions Den General Dealer and stealing goods worth P910 and sentenced him to three years in prison.
